I am not sure who this soldier is? Sometimes I look at the face and think he is my brother Mark and sometimes I am not sure. This picture is sometime between Nov66 and April67.

The platoon surprised a group of NVA. They went through the packs and Mark found this NVA "Boonie" hat. He mailed it home, but we lost it through the years.

For some reason I have always thought this is a very sad photo. This is sometime very late in Mark's tour. He is a Spec 4 in this photo. He is very thin and has a short haircut. This is probably right after he went to Hawaii on R&R to visit my parents in June 1967. On the back of the photo he wrote "Spec 4 Charles Mark Judge".
